FLOYD J. OLSON

Floyd J. Olson, 93, of Morrison, Ill., died Wednesday at Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Grove Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Abell officiating. The service will be followed by fellowship at Brethren In Christ Church, Morrison. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

He was born Nov. 7, 1912, in Ustick Township in Illinois to John and Betty Larson Olson. He married Janice Stevenson on June 3, 1978, in Morrison.

He attended Goeff School in Ustick Township.

He was a self-employed farmer, and did milk hauling, trucking and bulldozing.

He served on the Gridley School Board and was a member of Brethren In Christ Church.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Harvey Olson of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Jane Harvey and Mrs. Nancy (Dave) Seddon of Rockford, Ill.; and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, one brother and one sister.
