Ernestine Green 03/11/1999 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Ernestine L. Green, of Clinton, formerly of Maquoketa, will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Carson & Son Funeral Home, Maquoketa. Burial will be in the Streets Cemetery, rural Maquoketa. Visitation will be 12:30-2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Green died Monday, March 9, 1999, at the Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton. She worked for 10 years on the assembly line at Clinton Engines, Maquoketa. Ernestine Varner was born Jan. 25, 1925, in Jackson County. She married John Green in 1941 in Clinton. He preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to the Ernestine L. Green Memorial Fund.
