Augustus Huntley 03/04/1999 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Augustus H. "Gus" Huntley, of 1121 8th Ave. N., will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Huntley died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at his home. He was employed as a railway clerk with the Chicago Northwestern Railroad and as an insurance agent. He retired in 1982. He was born March 26, 1921, in Newberry, Mich. He married Lorraine Peters in 1944 in Clinton. During World War II, he served with Army's 45th Engineers in North Africa, Sicily and Italy. Survivors include his wife; sons, Gene, Elkhorn, Wis., Larry, Geneseo, Ill., Kim, Limbach, Germany, Jeff, Martinez, Calif., and Phil, Clinton; seven grandchildren; and sisters, Ida Kinsella, Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., Jane Martinchek, Newberry, and Leona Williams, Escanaba, Mich.
