John Kitchen 02/10/1999 DeWITT, Iowa -- Services for John W. Kitchen, of DeWitt, will be 10:03 a.m. Thursday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Long Grove. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Kitchen died Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, after an automobile accident. He was employed as a laborer in many occupations. He was born Aug. 8, 1955, in Geneseo, Ill. He married Rebecca Hoffmann in 1986 in Perryton, Texas. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Tabitha Knochenmas, Dixon, Tami Rarick, Washington, Iowa, and Helen and Hailey Kitchen, both of DeWitt; a son, Ronald, Clinton; a stepson, Dallas Skeel, DeWitt; his father, Ernest Kitchen, Galesburg, Ill.; his stepmother, Sue Kitchen; two grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Short, DeWitt, Wanda Clark, Grand Mound, and Theresa Reeves, Tyler, Texas; and brothers, David Clark, Milan, Ill., James Clark, Burlington, Earnie Kitchen, Morning Sun, and Mike Kitchen, Low Moor.
