Edward Bartels 02/11/1999 CAMANCHE, Iowa -- Services for Edward L. Bartels, of Camanche, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Camanche Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Bartels died Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, near DeWitt, after an automobile accident. He was a self-employed with metal salvage in the Clinton County area. He was born May 14, 1946, in Clinton. During the Vietnam War, he served in the Army. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include sons, Edward S. and James, both of Clinton; seven grandchildren; and brothers, Robert and Henry, both of Camanche.
