The Clinton Herald Thursday March 19, 1936 p. 5 Mrs. Justus Lund, 93, died at 12:30 o'clock this morning in her home, 2804 North Second street, after an illness of about four months. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Julie Hahn was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, Dec. 6, 1842, and came to America in 1865. She was united in marriage to Justus Lund, April 15, 1866. Mr. Lund preceded her in death Sept. 29 1931, they having celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in April of that year. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.L. Freund, and Miss Bertha Lund, at home; three grandchildren, Miss Constance Freund, of this city, Herbert E. Freund, Chicago, Ill., and Carl J. Freund, of Cedar Rapids, and four great-grandchildren, Betty and Nancy Freund of Chicago, and Juliane and Tom Freund of Cedar Rapids.
