The Clinton Herald Tuesday December 16, 1924 p. 8 Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Catherine Buell, 213 Clinton street, who died at Mercy hospital Monday morning at 10:10 o'clock, will be held Thursday afternoon with a brief service at the home at 1:30 o'clock, followed by services at St. John's Lutheran church at 2 o'clock. The Rev. C.H. Jabker will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Anna Catherine Peterson was born in Langenhorn, Schleswig Holstein, Germany, July 19, 1863, and came to America in 1889, settling at Bryant. July 29, 1892 she was united in marriage with Jacob Buell at Clinton. To this union six children were born, a daughter, Margaret, passing away in infancy. Mr. Buell died in January, 1903. Of her immediate family she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dora Tedts and Mrs. Christine Hayes of DeWitt. three sons, Andrew Buell and William Buell of Lyons and John Buell of Barrington, Ill.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Chris Peterson of Elvira and August Peterson of Charlotte; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Jensen of Charlotte.
