Larry George McKinney

WOODSTOCK, Ill. — Larry George McKinney, 63, of Woodstock, died Thursday at his home.

Visitation was today at the Schneider, Leucht, Merwin and Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock. Funeral services will be at noon today at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

He was born Aug. 26, 1942, in Toledo to George A. and Lillian M. Kouba McKinney. He married Son O. Chung on July 15, 1969, in Korea.

He grew up in Preston.

He graduated from Cornell College, Mount Vernon, in 1964.

He entered the U.S. Air Force in 1964, serving in Japan and Korea.

He worked with Oscar Mayer for 29 years. He also worked as an accounting manager with Clausen Pickles, Woodstock.

He and his wife moved to Woodstock 23 years ago.

He was active with the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce serving as trustee and president. He also served as treasurer of the Dick Tracy Museum.

Survivors include his wife; mother, Lillian McKinney of Clinton; two daughters, Karen McKinney of Syracuse, N.Y., and Kelly McKinney of Spokane, Wash.; one brother, Marc (Beth) McKinney of Clinton; and one nephew and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his father.
