The Clinton Herald Tuesday June 20, 1972 p. 10 The funeral service for Kenneth Cook, 55, Miles farmer who died Sunday, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Miles United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Miles Cemetery. The Rev. Donald Cutler will officiate. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today in the Miller Funeral Home at Preston where a Masonic service will be conducted at 8 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Winston Corlis, Vernon Jungjohann, Marvin Hass, Wilbur Koch, Delbert Hansen and Eldon Clausen. Mr. Cook was born Oct. 8, 1916, at Miles to Carlton and Leona Struve Cook. He married Doris Ellison. She died in 1953. He married Mavis Pladsen July 2, 1961. He was a member of the Miles United Methodist Church, the local Masonic Lodge and the Eastern Star Chapter, the Clinton Consistory and the Kaaba Shrine in Davenport. Survivors are the widow; a daughter, Sara, at home; the father in Miles and three sisters, Mrs. Wilfred (Aleon) DeVore, Littleton, Colo., Mrs. Robert (Leola) Conkling, Denver, Colo., and Miss Carol Cook, Clinton. Two infant sons, his mother and a brother preceded him in death.
