Gordon E. Struve, 24, of 1404 S. 4th St., died instantly at 12:59 p.m., Saturday when the car in which he was riding struck a utility pole at 10th Ave. S. and 3rd St. Friends may call at the Snell-Smith funeral home until 11 a.m. Tuesday when the body will be taken to the Faith Lutheran church in Andover. Friends may call at the church from noon until 2 p.m. funeral time. Rev. A.C. Koengetter, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. He was born Oct. 30, 1935, in Clinton, the son of Harvey and Bernice Rogers Struve. On Nov. 30, 1957 he was married to Bernadine Jones of Clinton. He was employed as a service technician for the Rod Fitch Sports Center. Survivors include his wife; three children, Terry Lee, Marsha Lynn and Rhonda Jean; his parents of Almont; two brothers, Roger and Larry of Almont; one sister, Susan of Almont; and his mathernal grandmother, Mrs. Rose Rogers of Sabula, and aunts and uncles.
