The Clinton Herald Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Boniface Church for Mrs. William (Joan M.) Miller, 55, of 2509 N. 11th St. She died Monday in University Hospitals, Iowa City. The Rev. Harold O'Connor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery. Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today in Cannon Funeral Home with the parish rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. A prayer service will precede the Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dan Waters, Tom Waters, Roy J. Struve, Carlie Seamer, Jim Domeyer and Herman Aude. Mrs. Miller was born May 21, 1926, in Clinton, to Joseph and Marie E. Schreiner Pestka. She married William H. Miller April 11, 1959, in Clinton. She received an Associate of Arts degree from Mount St. Clare College and taught school for two years. She then worked for many years at Clinton Corn Processing Co. She was a lifetime member of St. Boniface Parish, a member of St. Jude's Circle and St. Boniface Rosary Society. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Paulette, and a son, Michael, both at home; and three sisters, Mrs. Stuart (Donna) Gibson, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Jost and Mrs. Ronald (Gerry) Dixon, Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brothers and a sister.
