The Clinton Herald Tuesday October 30, 1979 p. 12 Mrs. Viola C. Struve, 80, Route 3, died Monday night at Jane Lamb Hospital. The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Faith Lutheran Church at Andover with the Rev. Tim Wiggins officiating. Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be at Andover Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Joseph Cotton, Daniel Smith, Garnet Eggers, George Eggers, Edward Baasch and Ralph Eggers. Mrs. Struve was born Oct. 19, 1899, in Elk River Township, Clinton County, to Henry and Helena Stoltenberg Eggers. She married Arnold F. Struve Feb. 24, 1926, in Clinton He died in November 1975. She was a life resident of Clinton County and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sons, George E. of Route 3 and Eldon of Route 1, Sabula; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Lange of Andover, Mrs. Leslie (Alta) Struve and Mrs. Kamm (Vernetta) Smith of Hauntown; and two brothers, Albert Eggers of Route 3 and Herman Eggers of Hauntown. She was preceded in death by four brothers.
