The Clinton Herald Friday November 14, 1975 p. 12 Arnold F. Struve, 73, Route 3, died of an apparent heart attack Thursday afternoon on the the Dr. George Aurand property north of Clinton. Sheriff's officials said they believe Struve was trapping at the time of the attack. He was pronounced dead by Dr. Aurand. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Snell-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Rall of St. John's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the Andover Cemetery. Visitation began at 3 p.m. Friday. Pallbearers, all nephews, will be Joe Cotton, Dan Smith, Garnet Eggers, George Eggers, Roger Struve and Edward Baasch. He was born Dec. 29, 1901, in Elk River Township, son of Paul and Anna Klinge Struve and married Viola Eggers in Clinton Feb. 24, 1926. He farmed in the Hauntown area and was an agent for Preston Mutual Insurance Co. Surviving are his widow; sons, George, Route 3, and Eldon, Route 1, Sabula; several grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Hans (Flossie) Baasch, Route 3. Mr. Struve was preceded in death by five brothers.
