The Clinton Herald Wednesday April 24, 1974 p. 10 Emma Catherine Struve, 74, 2500 N. 3rd St., died Tuesday in Mercy Hospital. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Pape Funeral Home, the Rev. John Nickelsen, Community Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation at Pape's will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be George Struve, Joseph Cotton, Earl Bartels, Jack Struve, Thomas Cotton and Jeppe Struve. Miss Struve was born May 27, 1899, in Clinton, the daughter of John and Anne Nielsen Struve. She served many years as bookkeeper for Model Roller Mills, a family enterprise. She was a member of Community Congregational Church and a 50-year member of Lyons Chapter, 130, Order of Eastern Star. Miss Struve is survived by three brothers, Jans N. and Clarence J. of Clinton and Elmer of Turlock, Calif., and one sister, Olive Struve, Clinton. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
