Patricia Kay Neff Ives

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Patricia Kay Neff Ives, 62, died Jan. 5 at Boone County Hospital, Columbia.

There will be a celebration of her life at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Calamus. The Rev. Nancy Bender will be officiating. The family will greet family and friends after the service in the church fellowship area.

She was born Oct. 8, 1942, in Davenport to Raymond and Thais Marron Neff. She married David Ives on July 10, 1966, in Calamus.

She graduated from Calamus High School and the University of Iowa, Iowa City.

She was an archivist, library assistant and a researcher. She was head of the Development Department at the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Survivors include her husband; mother, Thais Neff of DeWitt; one sister, Mrs. Penny (Dick) Peterson of Davenport; one niece; one great-niece and one great-nephew; and one brother-in-law, Richard Ives of Kansas City, Mo.

Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, Calamus, or the Patricia K. Ives Library Endowment, payable to MU Libraries, University of Missouri, Columbia, MO 65211.
