Leona Petersen 12/09/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Leona C. Petersen, of 600 1/2 South 1st St., will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Petersen died Monday, Dec. 7, 1998, at Samaritan Hospital North, Clinton. She had worked at Burpee Seed Co., Clinton, and was an apartment manager for many years in Clinton. Leona Greve was born April 16, 1900, in Clinton. She married Dettef Petersen in 1919 in Teeds Grove. He died in 1963. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include a daughter, Lucille Smith, Denver; a son, Gilbert H., Clinton; two grandchildren; and a sister, Clara Hagge, Clinton.
