SAVANNA, Ill. — Robert D. Jackson, 73, of Savanna, died Saturday at the Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilita-tion Center, Clinton.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Bluff View Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Clinton. There will be a gathering of friends and family from 1:30 p.m. until the service time at the hall. The Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, is assisting the family.

He was born Nov. 15, 1931, in Rock Island, Ill., to Merle and Hazel Pegg Jackson.

He was a self employed over-the-road truck driver for many years.

He was a member of the Savanna Congregational of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Survivors include three daughters, Robbin Duuck of Port Byron, Ill., Mrs. Hope (Gaylynn) Eggers of Savanna and Mrs. Samantha (Victor) Hernandez of Westmin-ster, Colo.; one son, Ken (Karen) Jackson of Clinton; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Peggy Ratcliff of Davenport and Mrs. Dorothy (Emery) Isenberg of Morton, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, one brother and one sister.

Death Date: Nov. 12, 2005
