David L. Willgus
MAQUOKETA — David L. Willgus, 48, of Maquoketa, died Thursday at his home.
Public graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, with the Rev. Ivan Schroder, pastor of the United Pentecostal Church in Maquoketa, officiating. There will be no public visitation. The Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa is in charge of the arrangements.
He was born April 4, 1957, in Iowa City to John and Nellie Prindle Willgus.
He was a 1977 graduate of Maquoketa High School.
He attended church at the United Pentecostal Church.
He worked as a farmhand for area farmers for several years.
Survivors include one half brother, Arthur (Merna) Petersen of Sabula; and three nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and nephews.
