CAMANCHE - Robert L. Larsen, 66, of Camanche, died Sunday at the Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Okumu officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Todd Burkhart, Troy Birely, Derek Birely, Leigh Goff, Dave Langfitt and Mike McDanel.

He was born Aug. 17, 1939, in Clinton to Albert and Lillian Mae Walker Larsen. He married Jacqueline Burke on Feb. 12, 1962, in Winterhaven, Calif.

He was a graduate of Clinton High School.

He was a member of the Camanche Bowling Association where he served as past secretary and treasurer. He was awarded Man of the Year in 1980 by the Camanche Bowling Association and was a member of the 700 Club. He also played baseball with the Clinton Industrial Baseball League.

Survivors include his wife; one brother, Gerald (Janet) Larsen of Phoenix; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Larsen of Sun City, Ariz., and Mrs. Patricia (Jim) Birely of Camanche; and several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
