OHIO, Ill. — Jeffrey A. Shadle, 58, of Ohio, died Saturday Oct. 29, 2005, at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Fulton (Ill.) Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Parks, pastor of Victory Chapel in Princeton, Ill., will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Fulton Township Cemetery with graveside military rites.

He was born Sept. 7, 1947, in Clinton to Earl and Virginia Lampe Shadle Jr. He married Sandra LaShelle on June 3, 1972, in Fulton.

He was educated in Fulton grade schools and graduated from Fulton High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was co-manager at Monier Pork Farm, Ohio, for 21 years.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Ashley Shadle of Chicago; one son, Jeremy Shadle of Ohio; one grandchild; his stepmother, Dorothy Witt of Clinton; four sisters, Mrs. Lettie (Jerry) Banse of Fulton, Mrs. Deborah (John) Talbert of Onarga, Ill., Mrs. Lisa (Bob) Verstreater of Yuba City, Calif., and Mrs. Julie (Corey) Chmoll of Orion, Ill.; one brother, David (Peggy Hayden) Shadle of Fulton; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by one son, one brother and his parents.
