David R. Struve, 68, of Clinton, died Sunday Oct. 16, 2005, at his home.

There will be no visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will take place at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born April 8, 1937, in Clinton to Lyal and Leota Petersen Struve.

He graduated from Clinton High School.

He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was employed with the Curtis Co. and Central Steel and Tube.

Survivors include three sisters, Rhea Alton of Lakeland, Fla., Jeanne Johnson of Andover and June McDonald of Bryant; one brother, John “Jack” (Marg) Struve of Clinton; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
