Funeral services for John Feddersen, 84, DeWitt, were held July 25 at Grace Lutheran church in DeWitt, with burial in the Elmwood cemetery.

Mr. Feddersen died July 23 at West Wing Place in DeWitt.

He married Velma Chrysler in 1923 in Davenport.

Mr. Feddersen retired in 1976 as a self employed contractor. He had been a farmer in Calamus in 1963. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran church.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. David (Jean) Bender, DeWitt and Mrs. Richard (Ann) Lausen, West Liberty; 6 sons, Wayne, Low Moor; Jack and Don, both of Davenport; Dick, Leander, Texas; Carl, Grand Mound and Glen, Clarence; 36 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and a sister, Frieda Witt, DeWitt.
