Cletus P. Livens, 85, of Savanna, Ill., died Friday Oct. 7, 2005 at home.

Grave-side services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Savanna Township Cemetery. The Rev. Lisa Mapes, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Savanna, will be officiating.

He was born Jan. 15, 1920, in Bloomington, Wis., to Alfred and Lola Livens Rothenbuehler. He married Lorraine White on Dec. 11, 1953, in Mount Carroll, Ill. She died in 1989.

He worked with Drives, Fulton, Ill., as an assembler for many years.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Neta (Allen) Breuning of Elizabeth, Ill., and Helen Osborn of Seneca, Mo.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the family in his name.
