Elmer B. Krogman, 93, of Clinton, died Friday October 7, 2005 at the Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Prince of Peace Parish, St. Irenaeus Church with the Rev. Anthony Herold officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, where a vigil service will be held at 3 p.m. Burial will be in the St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Curtis Petersen, Tim Petersen, Clint Petersen, Michael Krogman, Kevin Krogman, Brian Krogman, Patrick Krogman, Bart Richmond and Jason Richmond.

He was born Oct. 18, 1911, in Clinton County to Joseph and Ida Gunther Krogman. He married Myrtle L. Nelson on June 4, 1935, at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Clinton. She died in 1993.

He farmed in rural Clinton until moving to Clinton in 1989.

He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish. He was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose.

Survivors include five children, Jean Petersen of Clinton, James (Audrey) Krogman of Bryant, Mrs. Bonnie (Robert) Richmond of Goose Lake, Mrs. Gail (Joseph) Clasman of Clinton and Mrs. Starla (Chuck) Belek of Clinton; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Agatha Clark and Esther Graves, both of Clinton and Genevieve Kuehl of DeWitt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one grandchild, one son-in-law, one brother and three sisters.
