The many friends of Charles Bark, a popular employe of the Clinton Sugar Refining company, were grieved today to learn of his death, which occurred at 3:30 o'clock this morning at his home, 525 Dunham avenue, following a three weeks' illness, due to a complication of diseases.
The deceased was born in Canada on April 19, 1886, and came to this city when a child. He had made his home here for about 28 years. Surviving him are his father, John Bark, of this city, a brother, Frank, also of Clinton, and his wife, who was Miss May Greene, a Colorado girl, and one little daughter.
Mr. Bark was a member of the Knights and Ladies of Charity.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the house and will be private.
