MRS. WEASMER PASSES AWAY AT WATERFORD
Word was received in this city this morning by Charlie Au of the death of Mrs. Weasmer, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Haring, at Waterford, Iowa. Mrs. Weasmer was a former resident of this city, but for the past ten years has made her home in Waterford. The body will arrive in this city Sunday morning at 9 o'clock and will be taken to the W. J. Shadduck undertaking parlors, where the funeral will be held some time Sunday afternoon.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Margaret Weasmer, whose body will arrive in this city Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock, from Wallingford, Iowa, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the W. J. Shadduck Undertaking parlors. Rev. Walter M. Swann will have charge of the services. Burial will be made in Oakland cemetery.

Mrs. Robert Weasmer, nee Miss Margaret Diennon, was born June 1, 1849, at Liberty, New York. In the year 1869, January 1 she was united in marriage to Euguene Irwin. To this union three children were born, Frank Irwin of Brookings, South Dakota, Mrs. M. Harring of Wallingford, Iowa, and Mrs. Florence Hill of Hurleyville, New York. Mr. Irwin passed away in 1878 and she was again united in marriage in 1879 to Robert Weasmer. They came to Lyons in 1880 and resided here up until the time of his death in February 16, 1901. Mrs. Weasmer made her home here with Mrs. Joseph Herring until the family moved to Wallingford, Iowa, about ten years ago. The deceased was a member of the Congregational church for over thirty years and was very much loved and respected by all who knew her.
Short services were held at Wallingford, Iowa, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herring and funeral services were held yesterday afternoon from the W. J. Shadduck Undertaking parlors at 2:00 o'clock with Rev. Walter M. Swann, pastor of the Community church have charge of services. The funeral was largely attended by her many friends in this city. Those attending the casket were Matt Finch, Robert Green, John Joens, Joe Beeze, Robert Herring and Charles Au. Burial was made in Oakland cemetery.
