Mrs. Mary Gaffey of Fulton passed away at Mercy hospital Sunday evening at 9:30 o'clock, after an illness of over one year. The body will be taken to the home of her son, James Gaffey, 107 South Third street, this city, and funeral services will be held at the Immaculate Conception church, Fulton, Wednesday morning. Friends are kindly asked to omit flowers.
Mary Lyons was born 67 years ago on a farm north of Lyons and was united in marriage to James Gaffey, who preceded her in death two years ago. Left to mourn her death are three sons, John and James of this city, Michael of Fulton, and one brother, Thomas Lyons, north of Lyons, also three sisters, Mrs. James McGrath of Clinton and Mrs. Julia Gordon of Chicago, and Miss Julia Lyons, who resides with her brother, Thomas.
