John D. Long, 90, of Huntington Beach, Calif., and formerly of Clinton, died Sept. 17 in Huntington Beach.

Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery, Clinton. The Schmitz Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge or arrangements.

He was born Nov. 29, 1914, in Nebraska to Dwight and Grace Cook Long.

He was a manager with McDonnell Douglas in California for 55 years.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
