MRS.EARL LATHROP
Mrs. Earl Lathrop,71, of 437-16th Ave. S., died Saturday at The Alverno of a stroke.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be said at 11 A.M. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church, preceded by a prayer service at 10:30 A.M.in the Delaney Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. today, and a Parish rosary and National Catholic Order of Forestersrosary will be recited at 7:30 P.M.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Timothy O'Connor, Farrell Cieslak, John Lorenzen, Jim Hickey, Jr., Lloyd Lanning, and Lloyd Marburger.
Dolores Brigid Hickey was born February 7, 1907 in Clinton to Lawrence Hickey and Honora (Nora) Munroe Hickey(daughter of John Munroe and Sarah Hopkins Munroe also buried in St. Mary's Cemetery).
She married first Bert B. Nolin and their daughter was Patricia Ann Nolin (married to Arnold Hass). She married second Earl N. Lathrop on August 30th, 1939 in Clinton at St. Mary's rectory. Their daughter was Kathleen Lathrop (married to Gene Siefken). She was a memeber of St. Mary's Church and the National Order of Foresters.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Lathrop; her two daughters, Patricia Hass and Kathy Siefken. She also raised her niece, Janet Hickey O'Connor, (daughter of her brother Edmund Hickey) (married to Robert O'Connor).Also surviving are her grandchildren: Susan Ann Hass, Maureen Ellen Hass Pieczynski (married to Richard Pieczynski, Stephen Arnold Hass, Dolores Kay Hass, Timothy Paul O'Connor, Brigette O'Connor, Philip Siefken, and Robert Siefken.She is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Gabriel Pieczynski and Charlotte Pieczynski and David. Also surviving her are three brothers Aloysius (Otis) Hickey, and Francis David (Diddy) Hickey of Clinton and Marvin Hickey of Green Bay Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by four sisters: Mary Jane Hickey Hilburg, Rose Ann Hickey Keeley, Kathryn I. Hickey Farrell, Ruth Hickey Miller and five brothers: Edmund T. Hickey, Joseph Hickey, James Hickey, Lorin T. Hickey, and William Hickey Known nieces and nephews surviving are: Maxine Hickey Ensch, Jamie Hickey, Noreen Hickey Ceplecha, Marian Farrell Cieslak, Rosemary Miller, James Miller, Larry Hickey, Janet Hickey O'Connor,DeLee Hickey, Patrick Hickey and Michael Hickey. She is also survived by many great- nieces and nephews.
