Wanda B. Anderson, 84, died at her home in rural Camanche, on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004.
She was born near McCausland, Sept. 18, 1920, to Chris and Norma Ott Litscher. Wanda married Rueben Anderson June 6, 1948 in Davenport. He died April 3, 1994.
They operated Anderson's Tavern, McCausland for 26 years. Prior to that she worked at the Rock Island Arsenal and CB & Q Railroad. After retirement, Wanda and Rueben retired to a farm in rural Camanche.
Wanda loved animals, flowers and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by nieces, Janet Woollard, Bonnie Rochau, Darlene Dailey, LaVonne Hinricks and Reba Anderson.
Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Rueben and nephews Donald Anderson and Sonny Anderson.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Burial will be at McCausland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Anderson, Lloyd Claussen, Tina Anderson, Charlie Schneider, Mike Kitchen and Arnie Rochau. Visiation will be 4 until 7 p.m. on Monday at Schultz Funeral Home. Memorials may be left to the Shriners Hospital for crippled children or the Clinton County Humane Society.
