Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Prince of Peace Parish for Enid L. Carr, 77, of Clinton, Iowa, who died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, at Eagle Point Nursing Home. The Rev. Jeffry Belger will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Knights of Columbus members: Wallace Alm, Dorence Cox, Maurice Losey, Jack Merdian, Benito Gonzales and Jim Krava.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Lemke Funeral Homes North Chapel, 2304 N. 2nd St., Clinton.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Diabetes Foundation.
Enid Lucille Quick was born Aug. 22, 1927, in DeWitt, Iowa, to Lloyd and Elsie (Cartee) Quick. On March 19, 1947, she married Raymond L. Carr in Davenport. He survives her.
She was employed with the former Nielsen's Clearing House, retiring after 25 years. She later worked for Food Bonanza. She was a member of the Moose, and she enjoyed bingo and camping.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Barbara (Mrs. Keith) Graves, Grand Mound, Iowa, and Kathryn (Mrs. Thomas) Rehr, of Clinton; a son, Darryl Carr, of Bettendorf; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nadine Cavanaugh and Bonnie (Mrs. Walter) Clausen, both of Clinton; three brothers, Earl (Joyce) Quick and Bill (Mildren) Quick, Clinton, and Keith (Karen) Quick, Albany, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Paulette Quick, Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
