Patricia A. Gorzny (1942-2022)

Patricia A Gorzny passed away 22 July at Allure of Prophets town at the age of 80.

She was born in Chadwick, IL, the daughter of Edward and Lucille (Armstrong) Loechel.

Pat attended Chadwick and Lyndon elementary schools eventually graduating from Lyndon High School.
She worked several years as a Nurses Aide for Morrison Community Hospital.

Pat enjoyed reading and playing computer games. She loved animals of every description, especially her dogs and cats, horses and deer.

She leaves behind two sons, Daniel (Caryn) Hovey of Polo, IL and Randy (Patty) Hovey of Galesburg, IL, One brother, John (Oy) Loechel of Lyndon, IL. Also four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Shirley Ricketts, brother Stanley Loechel and husband Larry Gorzny.

The family would like to sincerely thank the entire staff at Allure of Prophetstown for their loving and compassionate care that they showed to Pat during her years there.

Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with the cremation. Following cremation her urn will be buried at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. Per her wishes, a small graveside ceremony will be held at that time.
