February 12, 1970 - The Tipton Conservative

Final rites for Mrs. Joseph (Helene M.) Hundley, 82, will be held at 9:30 a.m. today (Thursday) at the Sheets and Son Funeral home with the Rev. W. E. Echardt, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran church, Mt. Vernon, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery, Clinton, at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Hundley died Feb. 10 at Cedar Manor, where she had lived for the past 4 months.

Helene Hansen was born Feb. 1, 1888, at Lyons, Clinton. She married Jospeh Allen Hundley at Lyons June 17, 1908. She had lived at Mt. Vernon for the past 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph, Tipton; a daughter, Mrs. J. W. R. (Myrna) Wildman, Overland Park, KIans.; a granddaughter; a brother, Otto Martensen, St. Petersburg, Fla. and a half-sister, Mrs. F. P. (Agatha) Ehlers, Clinton.

Last rites for Mrs. Joseph (Helene M.) Hundley, 82, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home Feb. 12, with the Rev. W. E. Echardt officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery at Clinton.

Pallbearers were Charles Blinks, Virgil Peters, Alvin Onstott, Herman Schmidt and Robert Ohlfest. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist.

Mrs. Hundley died at Cedar Manor Feb. 10 following an extended illness.

Helene Hansen was born at Lyons (Clinton) Feb. 1, 1888 and was educated in the Lyons German and public schools. She was married to Joseph Allen Hundley June 17, 1908. She had been a resident of Mt. Vernon for 25 years where she was a charter member of St. Paul Lutheran church.

She is survived by her husband, Tipton; a daughter, Mrs. J. W. R. (Myrna) Wildman, Overland Park, Kans. and a brother, Otto Martensen, St. Petersburg, Fla.
