Funeral services for Harold Willert, 61, a life long Toronto resident were held in the Toronto Community church March 10 with the Rev. E. A. Piper officiating. Mrs. Marvin Glover was the organist. Burial was in the Massillon cemetery.

Serving as casketbearers were Marvin Glover, Herbert Paarmann, Harold Fisher, Henry Struck, Raymond Hintz and John Organ.

Mr. Willert died in his home March 7.

He was born April 25, 1907, son of August and Caroline Schutt Willert in Toronto. He married Sadie Jeffery of Oxford Junction May 21, 1925.

He was a member of Toronto Community church, the volunteer Fire company, Wheatland American Legion, Masonic Lodge, and former member of the Toronto school board.

At the time of his death he was mayor of Toronto having served in that capacity for a number of years.

Survivors are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Charles Schwartz, Davenport, a grandson and a brother, Lyle of Oxford Junction. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
