Diane Lingle, 83, of Clinton passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on Monday, October 11, 2021at MercyOne, Clinton, IA. Visitation will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Clinton Chapel Snell Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A luncheon will follow the service at church. Diane was born February 25, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Alex and Estelle (Pavlak) Rozanski. She received her BA degree from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1960. She married John Lingle, January 5, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois. John died July 23, 1994. Diane and John met while on vacation in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Diane loved to travel the world and traveled extensively during her post college years and throughout her life.
Diane and John lived out their lives in Clinton, Iowa and had three daughters, Carrie Roque, Jennifer Cady and Stacy Hemstreet. She was a loving mother and housewife. She worked various jobs throughout her life. After college she worked in Chicago, Illinois as a design consultant and project designer in Los Angeles, California. She settled down in Clinton, Iowa to start a family with John Lingle. She was a homemaker and worked several jobs throughout the community.
Survivors include her daughters, Carrie Lingle (Eddie) Roque of Los Angeles, CA; Jennifer (William) Cady of Clinton, IA and Stacy (Matt) Lingle Hemstreet of Centennial, CO and grandchildren, Jon, Mackenzie, Siena, Carina, Sasha, Macy and Marin.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
