Obituary
Chad Bousselot, 46, of Calamus, Iowa, passed away peacefully at home, with his husband by his side.

Chad was born October 17, 1974, to Robert and Sharon (Staver) Edwards in Muscatine, Iowa. He graduated from Muscatine High School and worked for Farm & Fleet in Davenport until health problems prevented him from doing so. Recently, he worked for Family Dollar in DeWitt. He married Jason Bousselot October 5, 2013, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in rural Calamus. The couple resided in rural Calamus, where Chad had an extensive garden.

Chad was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in rural Calamus. He enjoyed several hobbies including pottery, model trains, Star Trek and Star Wars collections, and stained glass. He had a great love for gardening and caring for his pets.

He is survived by his husband, Jason, his father, Robert (Linda) Edwards of Muscatine, and a sister, Jodi (Pam) DeSimone of Muscatine.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon.

A Memorial Service with Holy Communion will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, rural Calamus, The Rev. Roberta Pierce officiating. Friends and Family are invited to visit from 9:30 a.m. until the service time. Refreshments will be served following the service.
