Ernest Witt, 75 of Long Grove, died Thursday, April 16, at Oak Terrace Nursing Center, Davenport, where he lived for three years.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 19, at Schultz-McGinnis Funeral Home, DeWitt, after 2 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Schultz-McGinnis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.
Mr. Witt was born December 17, 1911, in Long Grove to Johannes and Rose Bey Witt. He farmed in McCausland.
Survivors include two sisters, Katherine Witt of DeWitt, and Ida Mae Nightengale of Moline, Ill; five brothers, Roy and Ben of Long Grove, Arnold and Carl of Davenport, and Richard of DeWitt.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
