Lee G. Hilgendorf, 89, died January 18, 2021, at his home in Davenport, Florida. At his request no services were held. Lee was born Nov, 12, 1931 in Clinton, IA. Lee was a generous man with his time and treasure. He was active until he passed. After graduating from Lyons High School he joined the Navy. He later moved to Washington state where he worked for the telephone company. In the Spring of 2020 he decided to move to his Florida vacation home which he bought with his former spouse of 37 years, Faye Cate. She predeceased him in 2007. In Florida he could spend time with his sister Kay Mommsen who lives nearby. Lee is survived by his wife of three years, Dolores O'Connell, his son Brian of Union, Washington, daughters Risa (Tom) Foley of Rockmart, Georgia and Tracey (Randy) Dusin of Phoenix, Arizona, seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, brother Ray Hilgendorf of Clinton, and sister Kay of Davenport, Florida.
