A prayer service for Clarence Arkenberg was held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Hanrahan funeral home, DeWitt, followed by the Requiem High Mass in Assumption Church, Charlotte. The Rev. Bernard Brugmann officiated. Burial was in Assumption cemetery, Charlotte.
Pallbearers were Sylvester Bradulski, Larry O'Toole, Leo Gannon, Jack Burke, Francis Bathalter and Earl Hynes.
