Final rites for John Henry Witte, Charlevoix, Mich., former Wheatland resident, were held March 5 in Wheatland. Burial was in Pine Hill cemetery north of Wheatland.

Mr. Witte died in a Charlevoix hospital March 2. He was born near Wheatland March 23, 1897. He married Nina Mills of Westfield Dec. 26, 1928.

Survivors include 2 brothers, Emil, Toronto and Herman, Durant.
