Anthony Alan Schneider age 52 of Davenport, IA, passed away Tuesday Jan. 12, 2021 at his home. A private service and burial will be held at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, Iowa is assisting the family. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
Anthony was born on July 18, 1968 in Davenport, IA, the son of Gary and Judith (Mahmens) Schneider, Sr. He was a former employee at John Deere Company in East Moline, IL. His interests and activities included fishing, camping, and volunteered at food pantries. He was a self- taught guitarist and excelled in moto-cross and straight track racing. Anthony was a person of integrity, compassion, and showed sincere dedication to those he trusted.
He was preceded in death by his father-Gary Schneider Sr., his grandparents, Willard and Mildred Mahmens of Princeton, IA and Orville and Sophie Schneider of Clinton, IA, and an uncle, Ron Mahmens of Arkansas.
Anthony is survived by his son, Anthony Thomas Schneider of Moline, IL; his mother, Judy Schneider of Clinton, IA; a brother, Gary (Toni)Schneider Jr. of Camanche, IA, his aunt, Sherry Woodford of Tipton, IA, and two uncles, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. (Sherry) Mahmens, and Robert (Kathy) Mahmens both of Arkansas; and his best friend "Jim".
