CLINTON, Iowa -- Bernadine C. Dalrymple, of Clinton, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, at her home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Clinton. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at Pape Funeral Home in Clinton, with rosary recited at 7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery.
Bernadine was born Feb. 7, 1915, in Clinton, the daughter of John N. and Christina M. (May) Ernster. Bernadine was a homemaker and had worked at the former Van Alley Department Store and Sears Roebuck as a credit manager. She retired in 1990. She was a life member of St. Irenaeus Church. Bernadine is survived by her son, Bernard Dalrymple, of Clinton; her sister, Sarah Holliday, of Clinton; and three nieces and eight nephews.
