MALLARY, BEHAN, LUTZ, WEED, LYNCH, VERBOOM

The Clinton Herald, Monday December 31, 1990, p. 12. Eugene E. Mallary, 78, of New Ulm, Minn., formerly of Clinton, died Saturday in New Ulm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Schmitz Funeral Home where a 7:30 p.m. prayer service will be recited. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Mallary was born Nov. 19, 1912, in Clinton, to John and Bridget Behan Mallary. He married Gladys Lutz, Sept. 29, 1936, in Clinton. He was reared and educated in Clinton and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School. While living in Clinton, he was a laboratory technician at Nabisco Brands, Clinton Corn Processing Plant, retiring in 1977. Mr. Mallary and his wife moved to New Ulm in June of 1989. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. James (Kathleen) Weed of rural New Ulm; a son, Thomas of Newport News, Va.; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Catherine Lynch of Vero Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Joe (Marian) Verboom of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, two daughters and two sisters. Death date: Dec. 29, 1990.
