Mrs. Sadie C. Goodwin passed away yesterday at 8 o’clock at her home, 735 Clark street, following a stroke which she suffered last Saturday.
The decedent was born in Pennsylvania August 7, 1863, and with her parents came to Clinton in 1866. She was married in 1882, to George W. Goodwin, who preceded her in death a number of years ago. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Essie M. Bishop, and Mrs. Arthur Schumacher and the following grandchildren: Erwin and Betty Bishop and Harold, Helen and Dora Schumacher.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the First Methodist church Rev. J K Hawkins will officiate. Burial will be made in Springdale cemetery.
