Mrs. C. S. Harris passed away Saturday afternoon at the family residence, 830 Sixth avenue, after an illness of over a year's duration, the latter part of which time she was unable to leave her home.
Louise Beers was born in Lyons, August 20, 1874, the daughter of Theron R. and Sarah Beers. She was educated in the public schools of her home town and graduated from the high school in the class of 1892, later taking a business course. She was an efficient employee at the Peoples Trust and Savings bank for over seven years, severing her connection with that institution upon her marriage September 27, 1904.
She is survived by her husband, son Phillip and daughters, Annette and Margaret. She has two sisters, Mrs. C. B. Marquis and Mrs. G. F. Marquis of Lyons and one brother, Chas. E. Beers of Laurel, Miss.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. from St. John's Episcopal church with the Rev. Thomas Horton officiating. She was a communicant and active member of St. John's church.
True to her friends and devoted to her family, always cheerful and taking a heartfelt interest in their activities, she stood for the highest standards.
Her friends will miss her earnest genial efforts to help at any and all times, and her family cannot measure her loss as a true wife and loving mother.
