Funeral services were held for Fritz Eskildsen, 78, Charlotte, on Oct. 20 from the Hanrahan Funeral Home, De Witt, with Dr. C. W. Ebbert officiating. Burial was in Rossiter cemetery, Charlotte.

Mr. Eskildsen was born in Germany, Oct. 21, 1886 and was married to Sophia Hansen there Oct. 8, 1921, coming to the Charlotte area.

Survivors are his wife, 4 sons, Max, Charlotte; Ernest, Clinton; Herman, Great Lakes, Ill.; and Richard, San Antonio, Tex.; 11 grandchildren, and sisters, Marie Handt, Germany and Mrs. Jurgen Rathman, Clarence.

Hans Christiansen, Hans Ahrendsen, Arthur Sherman and Ed Gadke from this area served as pallbearers.
