Low Moor -- Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Low Moor church for Ira F. Howson, who passed away at his home on Saturday morning, December 17. Rev. Dill spoke comforting words from the thought, "The man I knew." Mrs. Alfred Ehlers and Mrs. F. E. Conover sang.
The pallbearers were F. E. Conover, Elbert Hudson, Charlie Everman, B. H. Dann, Ben Johnson and F. W. Rice.
Interment was at Prairie Union cemetery.
Those from away attending the funeral were Fred Cline and daughter, Annabel of Toledo, Iowa; Elmer Howson and Mrs. Louis Howson of Chicago, Mrs. Laura Tong of Des Moines, and Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Barker of Oxford Juction.
