V. T. Hundley of 813 North Sixth street passed away this morning at about eleven o'clock at his home. He had gone to his work this morning in apparently as good health as ever, leaving about 6:30 o'clock for the Anderson & Winter factory, where he is employed. About seven o'clock he was brought home in an automobile and from that time on gradually grew worse until death came at the hour above stated.
Mr. Hundley was born in Salem, Va., Feb. 9, 1848, and was 72 years old at the time of his death. He came to Lyons about 45 years ago and a year later was married to Miss Catherine Fitzgerald.
He leaves to mourn his loss beside his wife four sons, W. J. Hundley of Clinton, H. B. Hundley of Anacortes, Wash., J. A. Hundley of Marshalltown, Iowa, and C. A. Hundley of Lyons, three daughters, Mrs. H. B. Rubbles of Peoria, Ill., Mrs. D. M. Underwood of Cedar Rapids, and Miss Florence Hundley at home, one sister, Mrs. Mary Boybon, and one brother, T. P. Hundley, both of New York, also five grandchildren.
No funeral arrangements have as yet been made.

Funeral services for the late V. T. Hundley were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home on North Sixth street. The following people attended the casket, Matt Finch, Silas Dodge, Chris Paulsen, Ed. Horst, Stephen Bishop and Joseph Sutton. Burial was made in Oakland.
