Funeral service for Mrs. Hilma Stout, former Anamosa resident, who died last Tuesday at Leavenworth, Kan., was held in DeWitt Thursday, June 24.

Mrs. Stout was born Hilma Oftion, July 18, 1876, at Munterville, near Ottumwa. She was married to David Stout June 30, 1893, at the home of her cousin, Mrs. Delbert Yount, but the couple were divorced at the time of his death.

She was a member of the Lutheran church, and also belonged to the Royal Neighbors.

She is survived by two sons, Newell Stout, Leavenworth, Kan., and Glen Stout, DeWitt; her sister, Minnie Wallace, three grandchildren, and her cousin, Mrs. Yount.
