Funeral services for Mrs. George Shean, 630 North Sixth street, were held at St. Irenaeus church at 9 o'clock this morning with a solemn high mass. Rev. Father James Comerford officiated and burial was made in Calvary cemetery.
Pallbearers were William Behlke, James Campbell, Patrick Malloy, James Hand, John Dever and Tom Denahy.
Among those coming from out of the city to attend the services were Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Shean, Rockford, Ill., Mrs. A. J. Mallon and children, Mary and Donald of Petersville, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Mallon, Jr., of Davenport, Vincent Madden of Great Falls, Montana, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Mangan, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mangan, James, Charles Mangan, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Welch, Mrs. Mame Brogan, Margaret and Frances Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Martin, all of DeWitt, Mrs. James Delaney of Dubuque and Mr. and Mrs. James Welch and Coal Mangan of Davenport.
